I am a Registered Psychotherapist, but human, first and foremost. I chose this career-path because I wanted my work to have an impact in the lives of others, even if in the smallest way. I am passionate about my role in guiding and empowering others to live authentic, fulfilling, and meaningful lives and I find it an honour and a privilege for individuals to invite me to support them on their journey. I believe my passion for therapy stems from my own experiences of perfectionism, trauma, grief, anxiety, self-esteem, and navigating complex relationships. I participate in therapy myself and try my best to continue to take care of my own needs and well-being so that I can be present in my life as well as the lives of my clients.
As part of my education and training, I completed an undergraduate degree in Psychology at the University of Guelph, a post-graduate certificate in Addictions & Mental Health at Durham College, and a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology degree at Yorkville University.
When I'm not working, I enjoy living an active lifestyle through sports, strength training and running, exploring new places, baking delicious desserts, crafting homemade cards, reading, and spending time with close family and friends.
